Chicago Fact: The Loop is so named because Chicago's elevated train tracks (locals call it The El) surround the area.

Getting to the Tour

There are many easy ways to start your Chicago Trolley & Double Decker adventure. Here are some helpful tips to get your tickets:

From the Hotels

In many cases, you may see the concierge to purchase tickets the day you would like to take our tour. We count over 60 hotels within walking distance to our tour stops so there will always be a boarding location nearby. In lieu of the concierge desk, just walk to any of the stops listed on our map and look for one of our friendly red-vested ticket agents.

Driving to Chicago

There are many parking options downtown but we recommend one of the four parking garages located underneath Millennium Park. Those garages are easily accessible from all major highways. Two entrances are on Columbus Drive and two are located on Michigan Avenue. The parking rate seems to be less expensive than garages in other parts of the city. You can walk upstairs to our Park Shop in Millennium Park, right under the Cloud Gate sculpture (The Bean) and purchase your tour and attraction tickets.

Public Transportation

If you are arriving in the city by Megabus or by train on Amtrak or Metra rail, our tour route now stops at both Union and Ogilvie train stations. The Union Station stop is located on the NE corner of Adams and Canal, an easy transfer from Megabus or Amtrak. The Ogilvie Station stop is located on the NE corner of Madison and Canal.
