Reports to: General Manager - Megabus Orlando

FLSA Exemption: Exempt


  • 2 years of dispatch and/or supervisory experience
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Working knowledge of motor carrier rules & regulations under GA and US DOT
  • Ability to learn and apply modern computer and office technology
  • Ability to complete and pass ACLA Safety & Training Programs
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the English language
  • Or any equivalent combination of education, training or experience that meets the classification pre-requisites.


  • Associate's Degree or higher in Business, Operations, Management or related field
  • 2+ years of transportation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products


  • Plans, coordinates, oversees and supervises Driver schedules
  • Issues written and oral instructions to staff
  • Counsels, records and disciplines Drivers as necessary
  • Communicates clearly in the assignment of duties and tasks to Drivers
  • Studies, implements and standardizes procedures to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensures continuous, positive and results-oriented employee relations
  • Works cohesively with different company departments to ensure coordination of activities
  • Maintains inventory relating to technology and equipment
  • Ensures timely and proper actions are followed and taken when changes occur
  • May assist in the absence of the Megabus Operations Manager
  • Additional assignments and tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations


  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at one time
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including outdoors
