MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Current CDL (Class A or Class B with Passenger Endorsement) Required
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Required
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills (including class-room speaking)
  • 1 Year of continuous service at American Coach Lines of Atlanta

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • 2 or more years in training
  • 3 or more years in the passenger transportation industry
  • 3 or more years at American Coach Lines of Atlanta with excellent safety record

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs road training of Motorcoach, Minibus & Transit Drivers
  • Performs and assists with classroom training
  • Offers leadership and oversight to operators
  • Provides field Supervision on conventions, shuttles & any large movement of buses
  • Assists in accident investigations and retrains Drivers
  • Must be able to work various days, hours and shifts (local & out of town) and be willing and able to drive interstate routes
  • Additional assignments & tasks as required or assigned

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

  • Local and out-of-state training

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends or special days
  • Flexibility to work hours that are appropriate for business needs (conventions, seasonal, safety meetings, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to stand and observe Drivers during training procedures

OTHER:

  • A Letter of Intent and an updated resume must be completed, signed & dated for further consideration
  • All newly hired/promoted candidates will be subject to a 1-Year Probationary Period
