NEWARK, NJ- NJ TRANSIT today released a proposal to trim service proportionate to recent ridership declines.  Under the plan, NJ TRANSIT's proposal also calls for service to be discontinued on three NJ TRANSIT bus routes (nos. 68, 134 and 138) and several local routes operated by private carriers.  In the event these routes are discontinued, we want the displaced commuters to know, Suburban already possesses the necessary Operating Authority to provide service on the effected lines.  As more information becomes available we will keep this site updated.  If you would like to join our "Commuter Advisory Alert" email list please email gogreen@coachusa.com and be sure your name, where you board the bus and your destination (Jersey City, PABT or Downtown) are included.  Thank You!
