- Please wait by the blue bus stop sign a few minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive. For pickup, signal to driver by raising your arm.
- When the bus arrives, check the sign above the windshield for the route number and name. Another sign is located just to the left of the front door at the top of the window. If you are still unsure if you have the correct bus, ask the driver.
- Pay your fare. Please have your fare ready before you board the bus. Cash & Tickets: Put bills, coins, or tickets into the farebox. Exact change is required. If you need a transfer, request one from the driver. Passengers paying the elderly/disabled fare or ticket are required to show their Metro Reduced Fare Card or Medicare Card to the driver. Passes: Show your pass to the driver.
- Take a seat and watch for your stop. Please note that seats at the front of the bus are reserved for the elderly and disabled.
- No passenger or their carry-on is allowed to occupy more than one seat to the exclusion of other passengers. Overhead storage is available for extra carry-on items.
- About a block from your stop, pull the cord on the wall above your seat to signal the driver. Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and depart from the door that is nearest to you.
- No smoking, eating or drinking on the bus.
