September 28 – We will start out heading across eastern Pennsylvania with our first overnight near the Poconos at Wilkes Barre, PA and the scenery en route should be spectacular. Your lovely hotel accommodations tonight are included near the Mohegan Sun Casino and the hotel provides complimentary shuttle service for those interested.
September 29 – Breakfast included. We will depart bright and early as we continue our trip and head further north up in to Massachusetts with a stop at the Yankee Candle Company home base store at South Deerfield, MA. This elaborate store is one of the most popular New England tour stops in the area and features the Bavarian Christmas Village, Old World Shops, the Nordic Fountain, the candle-making museum and more. We hope to arrive here in time to allow lunch on your own with eating venues available to all visitors. We will then stop for a photo opportunity at another popular stop at Hogback Lookout which is simply breathtaking at any season with 180 degree mountain vista which is many times referred to as 100 mile lookout. As we continue on, we will arrive at our lodge in West Dover, Vermont for the next 3 nights – what a great place to be in the fall surrounded by color. Dinner will be included. (B, D)
September 30 – Deluxe continental breakfast included before we head out on a full day of leaf peeping and touring in the beautiful fall mounts. Our first stop will be at for a photo op at "Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon" at Quechee Gorge. We will then board the Green Mountain Flyer and ride in a fully restored 1930's antique passenger coach pulled by a vintage locomotive. Travel along the Connecticut and Williams Rivers between Bellows Falls and the 1872 Chester Depot. Pass by covered bridges, a beautiful cascading waterfall and Brockway Mills Gorge. After our train ride we will visit the Billings Farm Museum and enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride along a scenic country road. Breathe in the fresh air at this farm museum of Vermont’s rural life with exhibits covering the 19th century to today. You will tour through the charming 1890 Farm House located in the rolling Vermont hills and experience the working dairy operation and heirloom gardens. We will make a stop at the 1946 New England Country Store on the National historic Register at Vermont Country Store – it’s like shopping in a museum with fascinating merchandise and New England antiques. Dinner is included at the historic Bryant House located in the country store – what an experience ! (CB, D)
October 1 – Deluxe continental breakfast included. Today you will enjoy the mountain views from Southern Vermont’s highest peak and see scenery like the skiers do from the air at the Stratton Mountain Gondola Ride. There will be time for lunch on your own in the New England town of Manchester, Vermont filled with shops and eateries. This afternoon we will tour through Hildene Estate, home of the Lincoln family descendents. This 24-room Georgian Revival mansion features original furnishings, family artifacts, gorgeous gardens and a 1,000 piece Aeolian Organ which will be played just for our group – this will be a fascinating experience. Next stop on our Leaf Peeper tour will be at the Vermont Apple Barn and Country Bake Shop for a "Taste of Vermont" tour including panoramic views on a ride to the top of the orchard, enjoy history of the area and partake in a slice of their signature apple pie which is included for all passengers today – delicious ! There will also be time to visit their wonderful bake shop. Dinner with entertainment included tonight. (CB, D)
October 2 – Deluxe continental breakfast included. This morning we will enjoy the Berkshire tour through this quaint region and see wonderful mountain vistas and charming New England villages. From your guide, you will hear about the history of Tanglewood and the gilded age of this mountainous resort area. There will be time for lunch on your own in the charming New England Village of Stockbridge, Massachusetts which is home of the beloved American illustrator, Norman Rockwell. We will then bid farewell to New England area and head towards home through Pennsylvania with our last overnight stay at Scranton. (CB)
October 3 – Continental Breakfast included as we head for home across Pennsylvania after a great fall adventure ! (CB)

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:
Prior to 30 days from your departure date a full refund will be made (with the exception of special event and/or show tours, air tours and cruises which will be different - be sure to ask about these details when your booking is made). There is no refund for cancellations made within 30 days prior to your departure date. But you are welcome to send someone in your place and let us know the name change (this does not apply to air and cruise tours which have various restrictions, strict cancellation policies and name change charges).
REFUND PROTECTION PLAN:
Butler Motor Tours offers a refund protection plan on all overnight tours with varying restrictions due to the nature of the tour. We highly encourage you to take advantage of it, although it is certainly your own individual decision. This plan is available at an additional cost and will protect your monies due to sickness or death, but it does not cover you if you simply "change your mind". An official written letter from the doctor is required for proof of illness or a statement as to the death in your family. This plan expires 30 days after cancellation, if the documentation is not received within 30 days of cancellation, the refund is forfeited. There is only a small window period of time in which you are allowed to purchase the plan so be sure to ask upon booking.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
To ensure passenger comfort, we have a "NO SMOKING" policy on all of our tours, which also includes e-cigarettes. Ample comfort stops are made for smoking and restroom convenience. Feel free to request a smoking or non-smoking hotel room when making your reservations. No alcohol is allowed on any tour at any time. We reserve the right to refuse boarding under such circumstances that these policies are not followed.
Butler Motor Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour that has not reached a minimum number of reservations. We also reserve the right to change tour prices and itineraries if so dictated by circumstances beyond our control. We always avoid canceling a tour if at all possible, as we understand the inconvenience to you - our valued customer. Feel free to ask about any departure, especially if you are taking vacation days at your place of work.
The cost of your tour includes one piece of luggage per person to be checked under the coach and one small carry-on piece. Any additional suitcase is allowed at a cost of $5.00 per day and this must be paid with the final tour payment. You will be responsible for the handling of your own carry-on luggage at all times.
Butler Motor Tours acts as an agent in arranging hotel and other accommodations and cannot be held responsible for non-performance.
Any person or group which requires an ADA accessible bus is requested to inform us at the time of reservation, and must notify us in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the charter's departure.
