Tour Itinerary

May 6 – We make our way into the state of Michigan, with time to get acquainted with our new traveling friends. We’ll check into our hotel in Grand Haven and then depart for Holland just in time for a special dinner at the quaint Alpen Rose! Tonight, we have reserved seats for the entertaining “Tulip Time Musical Salute” performed by local talented musicians. Last year’s group loved this. (D)

May 7 – So much to see and do today! We begin by picking up our special “Tulip Guide” who will take us on a narrated tour of Holland’s “Tulip Lane” and other sights of this delightful town, bedecked in the colors of the rainbow by the “King of Bulbs”. This afternoon we have reserved seats for the “Volksparade” where you will see the Klompen Dancers, the Street Scrubbers, bands and costumed performers at every turn. Enjoy a visit to Windmill Island to see its 240-year-old working Dutch windmill, “De Zwaan”, the antique carousel featuring hand-carved and painted wooden horses, the miniature Netherlands Village made by the early settlers, the Candle Shop, and the antique Amsterdam street organ. A yummy festival dinner awaits you before taking your seat for the special show at the Holland Civic Theater, “Welcome to Mitford”! (B, D)

May 8 – Today we journey over to the beautiful Veldeer Tulip Farm and Delft Wooden Shoe Factory for one of the largest selections of bulbs that you will find anywhere in the United States. Buy all you want – we’ve plenty of room under the bus to bring it home! It will be time to start our journey home, but the fun’s not over as we include a delicious, full turkey meal at the famous “Cornwell’s Turkeyville” over lunchtime! You will be “stuffed” indeed, but can walk it off in the attached shops and bakery in search of some delightful goodies to take home! Altogether, this is a wonderful, fun-filled trip and usually sells out, so don’t wait to call! (B,L)

Terms and Conditions:

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:

Prior to 30 days from your departure date a full refund will be made (with the exception of special event and/or show tours, air tours and cruises which will be different - be sure to ask about these details when your booking is made). There is no refund for cancellations made within 30 days prior to your departure date. But you are welcome to send someone in your place and let us know the name change (this does not apply to air and cruise tours which have various restrictions, strict cancellation policies and name change charges).

REFUND PROTECTION PLAN:
Butler Motor Tours offers a refund protection plan on all overnight tours with varying restrictions due to the nature of the tour. We highly encourage you to take advantage of it, although it is certainly your own individual decision. This plan is available at an additional cost and will protect your monies due to sickness or death, but it does not cover you if you simply "change your mind". An official written letter from the doctor is required for proof of illness or a statement as to the death in your family. This plan expires 30 days after cancellation, if the documentation is not received within 30 days of cancellation, the refund is forfeited. There is only a small window period of time in which you are allowed to purchase the plan so be sure to ask upon booking.

SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
To ensure passenger comfort, we have a "NO SMOKING" policy on all of our tours, which also includes e-cigarettes. Ample comfort stops are made for smoking and restroom convenience. Feel free to request a smoking or non-smoking hotel room when making your reservations. No alcohol is allowed on any tour at any time. We reserve the right to refuse boarding under such circumstances that these policies are not followed.

CANCELLED TOURS:
Butler Motor Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour that has not reached a minimum number of reservations. We also reserve the right to change tour prices and itineraries if so dictated by circumstances beyond our control. We always avoid canceling a tour if at all possible, as we understand the inconvenience to you - our valued customer. Feel free to ask about any departure, especially if you are taking vacation days at your place of work.

LUGGAGE:
The cost of your tour includes one piece of luggage per person to be checked under the coach and one small carry-on piece. Any additional suitcase is allowed at a cost of $5.00 per day and this must be paid with the final tour payment. You will be responsible for the handling of your own carry-on luggage at all times.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Butler Motor Tours acts as an agent in arranging hotel and other accommodations and cannot be held responsible for non-performance.

ADA NOTICE:
Any person or group which requires an ADA accessible bus is requested to inform us at the time of reservation, and must notify us in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the charter's departure.
