Tour Itinerary:

June 27 – We will head east to the welcoming town of Lancaster which will be our home for the next 2 wonderful nights. We’ll check in upon arrival with some time to freshen up before our first wonderful evening out. You will enjoy a delicious dinner at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater followed by a live musical show featuring “The Music Man” – a favorite all-American hit loved by all. The story unfolds as fast-talking Harold Hill plans to swindle the unsuspecting townspeople and skip town with the loot, but loses his heart to the librarian instead. With barbershop quartets and patriotic marches, it’s a heartfelt look at hometown American. You will recognize all the popular show tunes that go with this comedy musical story such as “76 Trombones”, “There’s Trouble in River City” and many more. (D)

June 28 – Breakfast included at your hotel this morning. We will then meet our guide for a wonderful morning of touring including the Amish Farmlands and Amish Quilt and Craft Shop. You will then enjoy the “Chalk Talk” experience with Elva who is a professional artist from Lancaster County and she will show you a motivational and inspiriting presentation. We will make a special stop where you can enjoy lunch on your own and enjoy some local specialty shops. Then, take your seats at the beautiful Sight and Sound Millennium Theater for the inspiring matinee performance of “Moses” – one of the Bible’s most epic sagas which come to life on stage at Sight and Sound. You will travel with Moses on his quest for personal identity that changes the course of history. Journey back in time as you witness the moment God first speaks to Moses at the burning bush and experience God’s awe-inspiring power as you sit in the midst of the parted Red Sea. Feel the celebration of the Israelites as they brush past you on their path to freedom and discover God’s unique plan as this action-packed story is chronicled for the very first time on the Sight & Sound stage. This will be one you won’t want to miss in 2014. After the show a fabulous dinner is awaiting us at a local popular restaurant. Tonight, the American Music Theater will welcome us for the evening show featuring America’s hottest new vocal group, “Under the Streetlamp”. This modern-day “Rat Pack” includes former leading cast members of the Tony Award winning musical “Jersey Boys” who will deliver an evening of unforgettable entertainment performing electrifying classical hits from the American radio songbook.
