(This is the only show endorsed by Holly, Valens and Richardson estates) This concert performance includes non-stop and high voltage entertainment featuring all the hit songs of the 50’s era such as “That’ll Be The Day”, “Peggy Sue”, “Chantilly Lace”…and lots, lots more – enjoy this authentic and exciting presentation live on stage. A special refreshment and treat are included during our travels. Enjoy a stop at the Lil country Store featuring Amish Crafts and canned goods and a diverse array of merchandise. The highlight of this visit will be the miniature horses in the barn next door who are waiting to greet you – they are so cute and you can have your picture taken with them ! (No credit cards are taken here – cash and checks only) Lunch will be on your own at the Strasburg Creamery – yummy. We will then arrive at the Strasburg Railroad for a lovely rail trip through the Pennsylvania Dutch country with an authentic steam locomotive as we pass working farms, Amish neighbors and rolling countryside. You will enjoy the Railroad Store and Gift shop here as well. Another wonderful home-cooked dinner with all the wonderful trimmings will be included tonight – delicious. The Sight & Sound Millennium Theater will welcome us as we take our seats for the evening performance of “Moses”. You will travel with Moses on his quest for personal identity that changes the course of history. Journey back in time as you witness the moment God first speaks to Moses at the burning bush and experience God’s awe-inspiring power as you sit in the midst of the parted Red Sea – this experience will be like no other as you feel God’s power and glory. Join the celebration of the Israelites as they brush past you on their path to freedom and discover God’s unique plan as this action-packed story is chronicled for the very first time on the Sight & Sound stage. Not only will you be completely immersed in the spectacular and epic events of the story but you will experience the humanity of Moses and his people as they struggle for faith, freedom and belonging. This incredible adventure is like none other…for this is when God has come to heal the brokenhearted…and then there are the Ten Commandments. This will be a most inspiring experience for all. (B, D)
