Tour itinerary:

July 14 – We will start out heading across Pennsylvania and north to Milford, Connecticut area for our first overnight. Dinner is included – welcome to New England ! (D)

July 15 – Continental breakfast included. Today we will enjoy a cruise from Point Judith, Rhode Island to the charming Block Island including panoramic views, pristine beaches, historic lighthouse, Mohegan Bluffs jutting 200 feet above the sea, Rodman’s Hollow, New England Inns and quaint fishing villages. This cozy island community is a land of stunning vistas and a rarity that moves at its own pace, well known for a relaxed and casual way of life. With more than 365 freshwater ponds from natural springs and 17 miles of beaches all around you, Block Island is a place you can enjoy natural splendor in every direction. We have included lunch on the island and there will also be time to explore the many shops in the village filled with unique items. Enjoy this wonderful island get-away on Block Island which has the distinction of being named “One of the 12 Last Great Places in the Western Hemisphere” by the Nature Conservancy. Back on the mainland later today, there will be free time at Newport Harbor’s Brick Marketplace filled with a sea-side marketplace, shops, restaurants and attractions and you can enjoy dinner at your choice of many eateries Our overnight for the next 2 nights will be near the Seekonk, Massachusetts area. July 16 – Continental breakfast included. Today is our Boston Harbor Island Cruise and tour and you will cruise to the largest of the Boston harbor Islands, Georges Island. There will be a guided tour of the historic landmark, Fort Warren, one of the country’s finest forts which were active from 1847 to 1947. Having also served as a Confederate Prison, the legendary spirit of “The Lady in Black” (the ghost of a prisoner’s wife) is said to roam the corridors here. There will be time in Boston at the famed Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market to have lunch on your own at this historic center filled with shops and eateries. On our Boston overview tour, we will follow the Freedom Trail into Colonial Revolutionary Boston and see the historic sites that make Boston famous such as USS Constitution, Boston Common, Old Granary Burial Ground, Old State House, the famous battle site of Bunker Hill, the site of the Boston Tea Party and more. (This tour will be part driving and part walking as needed). Dinner will be included tonight. (CB, D)

July 17 – Continental breakfast included. We will visit the prestigious U.S. Coast Guard Museum on the grounds of the picturesque Coast Guard Academy featuring incredible artifacts panning the 200 year history of America’s premier maritime service. We are then off to our Thimble Island Cruise for a narrated cruise departing from scenic Stony Creek. See over 25 beautiful islands, many of them pristine and uninhabited, including unique Victorian homes with gingerbread trimmings, widow walks and garden gazebos. During this tour you will hear the tales of the islands including history, nautical legend and hidden treasure. We will then say goodbye to New England area and head towards home with our last overnight near Wilkes Barre, PA. For those interested, your hotel provides free shuttle service to the nearby Mohegan Sun Casino filled with your favorite slots and table games as well as many dining options for dinner on your own. Prior to 30 days from your departure date a full refund will be made (with the exception of special event and/or show tours, air tours and cruises which will be different - be sure to ask about these details when your booking is made). There is no refund for cancellations made within 30 days prior to your departure date. But you are welcome to send someone in your place and let us know the name change (this does not apply to air and cruise tours which have various restrictions, strict cancellation policies and name change charges).

Butler Motor Tours offers a refund protection plan on all overnight tours with varying restrictions due to the nature of the tour. We highly encourage you to take advantage of it, although it is certainly your own individual decision. This plan is available at an additional cost and will protect your monies due to sickness or death, but it does not cover you if you simply "change your mind". An official written letter from the doctor is required for proof of illness or a statement as to the death in your family. This plan expires 30 days after cancellation, if the documentation is not received within 30 days of cancellation, the refund is forfeited. There is only a small window period of time in which you are allowed to purchase the plan so be sure to ask upon booking.

To ensure passenger comfort, we have a "NO SMOKING" policy on all of our tours, which also includes e-cigarettes. Ample comfort stops are made for smoking and restroom convenience. Feel free to request a smoking or non-smoking hotel room when making your reservations. No alcohol is allowed on any tour at any time. We reserve the right to refuse boarding under such circumstances that these policies are not followed.

Butler Motor Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour that has not reached a minimum number of reservations. We also reserve the right to change tour prices and itineraries if so dictated by circumstances beyond our control. We always avoid canceling a tour if at all possible, as we understand the inconvenience to you - our valued customer. Feel free to ask about any departure, especially if you are taking vacation days at your place of work.

The cost of your tour includes one piece of luggage per person to be checked under the coach and one small carry-on piece. Any additional suitcase is allowed at a cost of $5.00 per day and this must be paid with the final tour payment. You will be responsible for the handling of your own carry-on luggage at all times.

Butler Motor Tours acts as an agent in arranging hotel and other accommodations and cannot be held responsible for non-performance.

Any person or group which requires an ADA accessible bus is requested to inform us at the time of reservation, and must notify us in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the charter's departure.

Charges will appear as "CoachUSA/Megabus" on your credit card statement. We are a United States merchant and all card payments are processed at our corporate office located at 160 S. Route 17 North, Paramus, NJ.
