Day 1 - Connecticut

Journey northeast for April's gentle sea breezes and Nantucket's great soil for the blooming of over 3 million daffodils of every size, variety and color! Our overnight on this leg of the tour is in Connecticut.

Day 2 - Newport, Rhode Island

Arrive in Newport, Rhode Island with time to shop in this quaint downtown. Take the 10-mile Drive in Newport passing by the “cottages” of some of the richest families in the United States. Continue to Hyannis for three nights.

Day 3 & 4 - Daffodil Festival

Daffodils grace the island's roadsides, gardens and shop windows with blooms of yellow, orange, white and even pale pink. You will be free to enjoy the Nantucket Daffodil Festival's activities such as the antique car parade, food vendors, Nantucket Garden shows, and a local tour of the island. Enjoy the sights with a local guide.

Day 5 - Sandwich, MA

Before heading toward home, you will tour Hyannis, home of the Kennedy's, and Sandwich, MA. Watch glass being blown at the Sandwich Glass Museum. This afternoon, you will return to Connecticut with fond memories of Nantucket.

Sandwich Glass Museum: The Sandwich Historical Society and its Glass Museum, collects, preserves and interprets the history of the Town of Sandwich, the oldest town on Cape Cod. A large part of Sandwich history is involved with American glass production. The Museum has "Relight the fires in Sandwich" with a glass furnace and new exhibits to better tell the story of the glass industry in Sandwich. While it is not be able to completely recreate that booming, smoking glass factory, visitors are able to feel the heat from the glory hole on their faces. They can watch the glassblower turn and twist the hot glass into wonderful forms, and visions of those former days will not be so difficult to understand or imagine.

  • Walking Code (Level 4 out of a maximum 4): This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs or on uneven walking surfaces should be expected.

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:
Written notice of cancellation is always required

Multi-Day Tours
  • 30 days prior to departure: Full refund less any non-refundable charges. (i.e. theater tickets, hotel rooms, service fees)
  • 29-15 days prior to departure: A charge of 50% of the deposit plus any non-refundable charges. (i.e. theater tickets, hotel rooms, service fees)
  • 14-4 business days prior to departure: A charge of 100% of the deposit plus any non-refundable charges. (i.e. theater tickets, hotel rooms, services fees)
  • 3 business days to departure: *NO REFUND


  • * Unless you, the passenger, provide a replacement person(s) for your seat(s). The office must be notified of the name of the replacement before the day of the tour departure.

    REFUND PROTECTION PLAN:
    Trip Cancellation Insurance is available through Trip Mate Travel Insurance and MUST be purchased online at the time of booking. The insurance must be purchased at the time of booking. The premium of insurance is non-refundable. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance, especially for Lenzner's longer tours. Our tour cancellation policy is outlined above.

    SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
    To ensure passenger comfort, we have a "NO SMOKING" policy on all of our tours, which also includes e-cigarettes. Ample comfort stops are made for smoking and restroom convenience. Feel free to request a smoking or non-smoking hotel room when making your reservations. The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on board the motorcoach for any Lenzner Tour. We reserve the right to refuse boarding under such circumstances that these policies are not followed.

    CANCELLED TOURS:
    Lenzner Tour & Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour that has not reached a minimum number of reservations. We also reserve the right to change tour prices and itineraries if so dictated by circumstances beyond our control. We always avoid canceling a tour if at all possible, as we understand the inconvenience to you - our valued customer.

    LUGGAGE:
    The cost of your tour includes one piece of luggage per person to be checked under the coach. You will be permitted to have one piece of carry-on luggage which you are responsible to handle. Any additional suitcase is allowed at a cost of $5.00 per day and this must be paid with the final tour payment.

    RESPONSIBILITY:
    Lenzner Tour & Travel acts only as an agent in arranging transportation, accommodations, or any optional sightseeing tours, cruises, etc., and as such are not responsible for any damages, loss, delay, injury, or accident due to weather, or any act of default of any company or person engaged in providing service included in our tours. We reserve the right to cancel any tour or make changes in any itinerary as we deem necessary. Lenzner Tours is not responsible to any person for expense, loss of time or money or other circumstance resulting from a change in itinerary or change of tour arrangements. Any person may be dismissed from any tour at any time by the Tour Director or Driver in charge should his or her conduct not be in harmony with the rest of the passengers; no further obligation will be assumed by Lenzner Tours or anyone in their employ. Rates are subject to change due to increases in hotel, airline, or escalated fuel or operation charges.

    ADA NOTICE:
    In order to meet special requirements of passengers with disabilities or special dietary requirements, Lenzner Tour and Travel requires notification at the time of reservation. The driver and tour director are not to act as a travel attendant for passengers that need special assistance. A 48-hour notice is required for wheelchair accessible vehicles.
