What to Expect:
Enveloped in the folds of the west Bank of the Hudson River, lies Bear Mountain State Park. Buses depart New York City daily and bring you to the cornerstone of the park - the Historic Bear Mountain Inn and Overlook Lodge. An amazing portfolio of nature's attractions await your arrival; including a large play field, children's playground, shaded picnic grove, fishing and boating docks, swimming pool, Trailside Zoo, Merry-Go-Round Pavilion, and countless spectacular hiking trails. An un-covered outdoor ice rink is open seasonally for skaters and the Perkins Memorial Tower sits stately atop Bear Mountain- boasting views of the NYS skyline!
Our scheduled day-trip is the perfect way to take advantage of the unbeilievable hiking available just an hour from the doorstep of New Yorkers.
Stroll by brooks and rolling hills, climb to spectacular vistas, or challenge yourself along the first section of the Appalachian Trail, which is located just out the front door of the Bear Mountain Inn.

Buses depart New York City from the ShortLine Terminal at the Port Authority (42nd St. & 8th Ave.) on the 4rd floor-Gates 401-409.

One day tour tickets must be used within 30 days of purchase. One day tours purchased online are non-refundable but can be rescheduled by contacting the ShortLine office at 800-631-8405.
