Coach USA to Offer Free Trips to Rockford Customers Affected by American Airlines Landline Bus Cancellations

Coach USA, one of North America’s largest ground transportation providers, is stepping up to help American Airlines Landline shuttle bus customers who have been left without a way to the airport after the recent cancellation of their shuttle service between Rockford, IL and O’Hare Airport. Coach USA will offer free tickets to any customers who are affected by the cancellation of American Airlines shuttle bus services.

Affected American Airlines customers must email questions@coachusa.com with proof of a cancelled trip between Rockford and O’Hare for trips between October 1, 2026 - November 20, 2026.

Additionally, effective August 18, Coach USA will be offering an enhanced schedule of 19 daily trips between Rockford and O’Hare Airport. This includes four new trips daily, and the added frequency of hourly early morning trips will be convenient for travelers.

“We’ve increased our service at peak times to offer more frequent options for our customers as they look for the best way to get to O’Hare,” said Allen Fugate, General Manager of Coach USA Van Galder. “Customers will have peace of mind knowing that they won’t have to waste time waiting for connections, and we are glad to be able to step in to showcase our new enhanced service for free to American Airlines customers who may otherwise be left scrambling.”
