Coach USA’s Employees Donate Nearly 8,000 Pounds Of Food To Local Food Banks Across North America

Coach USA, one of the largest transportation companies in North America focuses on corporate social responsibility through their Coach USA Cares program, which collected nearly 8,000 pounds of food though the month of January. The donations were made around the United States and Canada in the communities Coach USA has operations.

During these challenging times, it is good to know we can still care for the needs of others.  I am so very proud of the Coach USA team collecting almost 8000 lbs. of food to give back in the communities in which we live and serve,” said Linda Burtwistle, CEO Coach USA.

Coach USA including Coach Canada’s donations went to the following: California- Orange County Food Bank, Salvation Army Of Sacramento, Georgia Neighborhood Cooperation Ministries, Illinois- Greater Chicago Food Depository, Maryland- A Can Can Make A Difference, Nevada- Friends In Service Helping and Winnemucca Ministerial Food Bank, New Jersey- Center for Food Action, Eva’s Village, South Brunswick Food Bank, Paramus Food Pantry, Saint Joseph Social Service Center.  New York- Goshen Ecumenical Food Pantry, Pennsylvania- North Hills Community Outreach, Texas- North Texas Food Bank, San Antonio Food Bank, Washington, D.C. National City Church, Wisconsin- Waukesha Food Pantry, E.C.H.O. Canada- Partners In Mission Food Bank, Peterborough Food Bank. The total donation was more than 7,800 pounds of food donated across North America.
