Mask RequiredNew Appointment Shows Further Commitment To Combat Human Trafficking
Paramus, New Jersey- November 11, 2019- Coach USA CEO Linda Burtwistle has been named to the Board of Directors of Truckers Against Trafficking, which has a focus on Bussing On The Lookout (B.O.T.L.) which is a 501(c)3 that exists to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the trucking, bus and energy industries to combat human trafficking.
“I am honored to be asked to join the Board of such a great organization that does tremendous work for society that I deeply care about. I hope my contributions can help further the cause to combat this horrific act that destroys people and families ,” said Linda Burtwistle, CEO Coach USA
This is another example of Ms. Burtwistle’s commitment to this important cause; she previously served on the United States Department Of Transportation Advisory Committee On Human Trafficking as Vice Chairwoman. Additionally, through her leadership Coach USA employees have been given training by B.O.T.L. for warning signs of a potential victim and what to do if they see it. Due to this effort Coach USA Ohio employees were able to intervene and save a woman from being trafficked.
