Coach USA, one of the largest transportation companies in North America was awarded a contract with Wisconsin’s Washington County Transit Service to operate commuter express bus service effective January 1.

Under the contract, Coach USA has developed a digital ticketing solution and will operate and maintain eight buses on routes between Washington County and metro Milwaukee including downtown Milwaukee.

In the wake of COVID-19, employers are developing plans to return their employees to the workplace while protecting their health and wellness, especially within transit-dependent urban centers like New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta where social distancing on public transportation may be a challenge.

Coach USA presented “Careers in Transportation” to the Teen Program at the Paterson Boys & Girls Club.  Michele Hartigan, Corporate Human Resources Manager, William Pelzer, General Manager of Community Coach Lines and Sean Hughes, Director of Corporate Affairs presented to approximately 50 young adults discussing career paths in transportation.

Newel Scoon, General Manager of Shortline which is part of Coach USA participated in a panel discussion hosted by Leadership Orange. Leadership Orange, is a non- profit organization founded in 1992, local community and business leaders established Leadership Orange to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders in Orange County, New York.
